Francisco Montero Aguilera
Francisco Montero Aguilera is the brother of Juan Montero Aguilera. He began constructing guitars in Cordoba in 1948. In 1963, he moved to Barcelona. He builds very high quality classical and flamenco guitars of great power and sonority using only woods of the highest quality that have been aged and dried for many years. He makes two classes of instruments, 1a models and special highly adorned models as shown. As with other luthiers using traditional methods, and building by hand with proven designs, his production of guitars is limited.
